Bien Dat Tran
Bien Dat Tran, age 72 of Richland, passed away May 10, 2006 at Kadlec Medical Center with his wife, children and extended family at his bed side.
He was born April 24, 1934 in Hanam, Vietnam.
He was long time resident of Gia-Dinh City Vietnam until June 9, 1994 when he, his wife and two youngest sons immigrated to the U.S. and settled in Richland until the time of his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents Uyen Dat Tran in 1988 and Phi Thi Tran in 2004, his sister Loan Thi Tran in 1994 and his baby brother Binh Dat Tran in 1952.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Phuc T. Phan of Richland; three daughters, Thu and Thu-Thuy Tran of Hochiminh City, and Thu Lan Tran, her husband Tu Tran, their daughter Anna of Livermore, CA; three sons, Khai P. Tran and wife Khue Diem Tran, their son Andy of Livermore, CA, Loc Tran and wife Kim Anh and their two children Phi-Long and Kim-Yen of Hochiminh City, Vietnam; Tho P. Tran and Hiep P. Tran of Richland.
He is also survived by his aunt Yen Tran of Richland, sister Phuong Tran husband Vin Tran and their children, grandchildren; adopted sister Tammy Nguyen husband Bill McClung of Richland; four brothers, Bac wife Cuc Le and their children, grandchildren, Bao wife Nghia Pham, Vincent Quy wife Mai Nguyen and their children, grandchildren all of Richland and Peter Hoa wife An Hang and son Willy of Prosser.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday May 20, 2006 at Christ the King Catholic Church, corner of Long Avenue and Stevens Avenue, Richland, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens 915 Bypass Hwy corner of West-240 Hwy and Cemetery Road. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 4:00 PM Friday May 19 at Einans Funeral Home, 915 Bypass Hwy Richland, with visitation and viewing from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM afterward.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate your prayers, acts of kindness and forgiveness to each other on his behalf. Memorial donations can also be made to the on-going Cao-Da Church Restoration Project or the charities of your choice.
