I will always remember Mike for his quiet strength and his love for all things Pontiac. I will miss you my friend.
Mike was not only a co-worker but a great friend. He will be missed very much. Angie and Family, Mary and I will be praying for you at this time to ask God’s help to give you strength during this time. One of his favorite sayings was, “Planning at Hanford is like Herding Cats.”
Dear Michael,
We worked together at Hanford as Planners for CH2MHill and used to cut up laughing at all the stuff we had to do to maintain the Hanford status quo, and our jobs, I might add. You were always deligent in your beliefs and undertakings for the animals that you rescue. May God take you into his arms and take care of you now.
Angie, I was shocked when I got the news last night. I will miss Mike very much. Please accept my condolences and if there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Mike intimidated many with his size and demeaner, but, it was all a sham, he was just a BIG TEDDY BEAR!! Kind and gentle. He told me the way he would relieve stress was to go home and sit with the dogs and let them wash away all that ailed him from the days trials.
Mike, thanks for the time we all were able to spend with you. You will be missed by many! God bless you and keep you and watch over your family for you. I know you will be keeping an eye on them yourself!
I have always loved you Dad
Dear Angie, John& I were heartbroken for you &your family.John is working away in Canada when we got your very sad news.Mike will truly be missed. Many who would like to honor his memory need an address for you when time permits. We both keep you in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. God hold you all in his arms to help comfort you.
Before Mike actually got the job at Diablo Canyon he told me how much he was looking forward to spending some time with his daughter. He also spoke frequently of his son Eric who he was very proud. He described all of the dogs personalities which he and Angie cared for and Angie, I believe you never ceased to amaze him, “AMAZING” as he would say. These were the conversation topics Mike and I had almost daily for years, which tells you a lot about where this mans heart lay. It was an honor to know him and be his friend.
Mike, you are truely a kind and gentle giant. All of us at Hanford will miss your friendship.
