Ruth, Nancy & family:
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Clayton. We always enjoyed our visits from Clayton and Ruth when you came to Colville.
Clayton was a man of much integrity, honor, pride and just a joy to visit with.
I can only imagine what the reaction of the other Angels was as he entered Heavens gates. I hope they are all up for Mr. Clayton Nelson.
What a guardian Angel we have now to watch over us!!
Rest in peace, Clayton, we love you.

Ruth..Nancy Clayton has always been one of my favorites. Clayton was such a sweetheart, and pillar of a man. My mom told me on many occasions, Clayton would ask how are her boys doing. That always meant alot to me. I can still taste the beer he used to make. I will miss him dearly. I always felt better after talking talking to Clayton, he had that knack with people.

Please accept my sincerest condolences. I am always saddened when someone dies, although they are at peace, we still miss them very much. Jesus Wept just before he resurrected Lazarus. What comforts me the most is the promises Jesus made of a resurrection john 11:25 and of Seeing them again and Living Forever with our loved ones, in Paradise John 3:16,36; Psalm 37:29 luke 23:43. What also comforts me is that these promises may also comfort your family as well. Blessed are those who mourn, since they will be comforted math5:40; 2Cor1:3,4.

Ruth, It was a great sadness when Clayton passed on. He was always there for us at Richland Lodge. When he was no longer able to take an active part in activitys, he continued to do all the telephone calling & other things he could do from home.
He was a big part of Richland Lodge. He will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you.

Ruth and Nancy,
I have many memories of being neighbors through the years, but one of the best memories is everytime I got out of my car to visit my parents Clayton would be on his front porch saying hello to me in his big voice. He was so kind to my mom and dad bringing them produce from his garden and in so many other ways. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, JoAnne
Clayton was the sweetest man. We went to church with him for many years and I always enjoyed his encouragement and smile. He was a very special person.
