Charlotte ”Holly” Jean Thomsen
Charlotte Holly Jean Thomsen, 53, of Richland, Washington, passed away February 24, 2007. She was born August 9, 1953 in Ogden, Utah and lived in the Tri-Cities for 13 years. She was a Substitute Educational Assistant for the Richland School District and a parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Most of Holly's childhood summers were spent in the family cabin in Ogden, floating down-river, which she greatly enjoyed.
Holly married the guy her brother dragged home from the Navy in 1972 and stood by him through 25 years of active and reserved duty. She was very proud of the many and varied achievements of her children. Holly�s true career was a homemaker, mother and grandmother, at which she excelled. She was also a great cook. She worked as a caregiver in the community. Holly loved living in the Tri-cities
Through out her life she enjoyed creating treasures for the ones she loved using her sewing skills. She enjoyed collecting pigs and lighthouses. She will be greatly missed by family and friends that loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Peter H. Thomsen; children: Pete L. R. Thomsen, Edwin C. Thomsen and Jolene M. & Steve Shields; grandchildren Jennie and TJ; mother and stepfather Edward and Margaret Scriven; sisters Edwina and Florence; brothers Lee and Jesse. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Stone.
A viewing will be Wednesday February 28th from 5-8pm at Einans Funeral Home. Family and friends will be attending mass at Christ the King Church, 1111 Stevens Dr., Richland at noon on Thursday, March 1, 2007.
