The nicest feeling I’ve ever known is being in love with you.

And I want to thank you for these feelings…

For bringing me happiness as though it were a gift I could open every day …I thank you.

For listening to all the words I want to be able to say …I appreciate you.

For letting me share the most personal parts of your world and for welcoming me with your eyes …I am grateful to you.

For being the wonderful, kind, giving person you are …I admire you.

For being the most beautiful light in my life …I desire you.

For being everything you are to me and for doing it all so beautifully …I love you. -Author, Douglas Pagels

  • My deepest sympathy goes out to the Hogan Family. I know how much Charlie meant to all of you. I have a lot of fun memories growing up and coming over to stay the night with Steph. I always looked forward to eating Charlies’ bbq hamburgers. The seasonings he used always brought out the best flavors in the cooking he did!!! Please know that I am thinking of you all and if you need anything, I am here for you.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. It was great spending time with Mr. Hogan during all Stephanie’s sports. He always had a smile on his face. • To the family of Charlie Hogan. Although we never met Charlie we know his beautiful daughter, Stephanie. She has been a great friend to our daughter and they have gone through many things together. We want to extend our sympathy to the family. You have all been through so much and now your Dear Charlie is at peace, feeling good again and enjoying things. It is those of you left behind that now have to carry on and face the future without him. May your grief be lessened knowing he is not in pain anymore or hurting anymore and enjoying being with those who have gone on before. May God bless you in your time of sorrow and may your thoughts be filled with happy thoughts of your Charlie……..Love Bert and Karla Spear

  • Sandy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I haven’t seen Charlie for many years, but I will always remember him with a smile on his face and living life to the fullist. I hope you find some measure of peace in knowing that he is no longer in the earthly shell of his body, but is free. He is in God’s care, as are you. My thought’s and prayers are with you. God speed and take care.

  • Dear Hogan family,

I have been sitting here in front of the compuuter now for quite a while thinkng, how, how do I put into words my sympathy to you and to anyone who knew Charlie, but mostly for you?

I only met Charlie on two occations at Priest Lake, but on each of those occations I was also lucky enough to meet the whole family as well. It was easy to see the love you all feel for one another. You all share the same humor and it always seemed to me that you enjoyed each other’s company.

Being arround Charlie and all of you was easy. Anyone can see how much Charlie and Sandy love one another, Sandy I hope when you are feeling down that you know you and he shared something most of us never even get close to, a love that stays.

I will always remember Charlie’s humor, and intelegencce, but most of all I will remember his acceptance. Charlie was one of the most easy people to be arround, for such a big man he had a gentleness about him, it always made me feel comfortable and accepted.

I still to this day think of the night we all sat arround the fire at the lake and charlie went to bed early…Sandy you might know where I am going with this, anyway after Charlie “woke himself up” we all laughed and cried and laughed…I think of that time and I still laugh out loud. That is one of my all time favorite memories.

I feel blessed to have been given the opertunity to have met a person such as Charlie. You all ment the wolrd to him and gave him such joy.

    God Bless

    Love

  • Charlie was a friend and a role model for all of us in the way that he loved his family. We are all saddened by his passing but are all better for having known him. I never met any of his family but felt like I had through his apparent pride and love for them.

We know that God’s Grace is sufficient in these times…
