  • Aunt Lilly and all of your sisters and brothers have been a big part of my life growing up. Her oldest brother Peter Damm Jr. was my grandfather, and Aunt Lilly’s husband, Uncle John Servo was my grandma’s Anna Servo Damm brother. So I guess that makes me related to her twice! I remember being a kid and a young adult watching Aunt Lilly and Uncle John dance, oh how they could polka, when Uncle Jack Green would play the accordian or anyone else for that matter. I alway wished I would fine a man who liked to dance and have a great time like my aunts and uncles from the Damm side of the family. Aunt Lilly always stated how proud she was that I named my oldest daughter, Lidia, like her, however, I never knew that Aunt Lilly’s middle name was Lydia. But now that I do, I’m glad I named my daughter with the same name. Aunt Lilly will be missed greatly by me and others. She had a big heart, soft hands and a wonderful smile. God bless………..

  • My prayers are with my extended family…It has been many years since I have seen or spoken to anyone on this side of my family and truly loved and appreciated my great aunt, she always made a point to seek me out and remind me that I was her name sake. I am honored to have been named Lidia and she always made sure to call me her Lidia, Thanks Aunt Lilly for always making me feel so special. I rejoice in the peace of the Lord and BELIEVE with all that I am that God’s mighty hand is in everything. You lived a long and successful life, You were blessed and so were we.

    God Bless all of you!

  • Aunt Lilly was a very special gift to us all, she was a very special lady and we loved her dearly. The last visit we had she told John and I she was 91 and ready to meet her family on the other side. She told my husband John I will tell your parents John nd Dorthy what a good man you are and I will say hello to them for you. She was a flower and as sweet as a roses perfume. We will miss her dearly.

  • I love you Mom and am glad you did not suffer too long. I know you are watching down from above with Dad. You had a long and wonderful life. I am so glad I had the opportunity to talk with you just two hours before you left us.

You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

    Love you always
