From Richland, WA, US | Born in Hai Phong, Vietnam
Hung Dinh Le
Hung Dinh Le, age 54, passed quietly Sunday morning, August 12th, at home, due to natural causes.
Hung was born in Hai Phong, Vietnam on August 15, 1952, the first of eight children born to Lam Dinh Le and Mai Thi Trinh.
He grew up in Vietnam, attending public school from first grade through high school, graduating at the top of his class in 1970. His college undergraduate years were spent at a university in Saigon where he majored in Physics and Mathematics. Following that, he achieved a Masters degree in Mathematics and became a professor at another university in Saigon. He enjoyed photography and often traveled to the most exotic places to capture images. In 1986, Hung married Thu Thuy Ho and together, they had two daughters but divorced in 1996. In 1992, Hungs family came to Richland, Washington from Vietnam. He was employed by Tyson Foods for 15 years. He provided for his family and always did put them first; he was a great son, thoughtful brother, and caring father. His children were always his first priorities and he sacrificed everything for them. His two daughters are in college and are on the right paths to a bright future, which was all Hung hoped for.
He is survived by his daughtersQuynh Le and Ngoc Le; siblingsin Richland are Christina Le and Nam Le, in Vietnam is Trang Doan Le, and in Australia are Dung Trung Le, Khanh Hoa Le, Toan Dinh Le, and Tuan Anh Le and their families; ex-wife Thu Thuy Thomas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007, from 11AM to 5PM. A traditional Buddhist ceremony will be held Sunday, August 19, 2007, from 10AM to 1PM, all of which will take place at Einans Funeral Home and Crematorium, located at 915 By-Pass Highway in Richland, Washington.
