Irene was a lovely neighbor and friend. She and her husband were wonderful friends to my daughter, Jennifer, when she was growing up on Gaillard Place. Irene always had time to visit and a beautiful smile to share. I will miss her.

I only met Irene about a year ago when she was asked to sub in our little bridge that meets at the Clarion Hotel for lunch and bridge. Once she subed for us, we asked her back every time we were short a player. She joined us willingly. She loved bridge as much as the rest of us. She was always a lady, and we enjoyed her company very much. I am sorry for your loss and our loss.

I went to school with Irenes’
daughter, Kass & spent many happy times at their home.
Irene was a gracious and lovely lady, and always made me feel welcome. My condolences in your loss.
I remember “Mrs. Peddicord” playing bridge with my mother, Hilda Durbin. I also remember that she made the best pies. I hope she enjoys bridge in heaven with my mother. Anna Durbin
