Donald Russell Fowler, Sr.

Donald R. Fowler Sr. died Sunday Sept 2nd at Kadlec Medical Center.

Don was the second son of Dorma LaDean Kelly and Charles LeVern Fowler. He was born July l0th 1949 in Richland, Washington. He served in the US Army Medical Corps , as a Surgical Technician at the 27th Surgical Hospital in Chu Lai, Republic of South Viet Nam from June 1969 to Feb 1970.

He married Nadine Rae Grending on the 17th of Sept 1971. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a life time member of the VFW and DAV.

Don is survived by His wife Nicki Fowler; daughters: Cindy Fowler of the US Navy, Mary and Don Dooley, and son Russ and Thora Fowler; grandchildren: Destiny and Devin Dooley and Zura Fowler; brothers: Skip & Dave Cheryl all of Richland, and Rick Fowler of San Francisco, CA. Aunts Shirley Mittlieder of Tillamook, OR; Marjorie Bell of California and uncle Earl Joanna Fowler of Hood River, Oregon. Cousins, nieces, nephews, ''adopted kids'' and lots of close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, uncle John Fowler, aunts Donna Williams, & Melba Alford.

Services will be Saturday Sep 8th at 2:00pm at the LDS Stake Center at 1720 Thayer Dr. Richland WA. Viewing will be held today Friday Sep 7th at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
