Pam F. Sexton
Pam F. Sexton, born March 5, 1954 in Seattle, passed away October 5, 2007 in Kennewick.
Pamela is survived by her loving parents; son Graham Coffeen; granddaughter Anyae Douglas; brothers Wayne Sexton and Bill Sexton; sisters Lynn Curtis and JoAnne Reising; and nephews and nieces.
Pamela worked at Benton and Franklin County courthouses for over 25 years. Her employment in the justice system was sometimes extremely challenging and other times joyful. Pamelas favorite aspect of her work was the variety of goofy stories criminals would conjure up. She would often say, Ive already heard that excuse three times today, youve got to come up with something better than that. Im going to go ahead and issue this warrant now. Have a nice day.
Pamela gave people around her something great: she inspired others laughter and imaginations. She had a way of bringing out humanitys gleeful child in all of us. Pamela wishes us to be happy in life and to love one another blissfully.
A memorial service will be held for Pamela at Einans Funeral Home, Saturday October 20th at 2:00. Einans is located at 915 By-Pass Highway, Richland 509-943-1114.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Tri Cities Cancer Center, 509-737-3407 or the Chaplaincy Hospice of Tri-Cities, 509-783-7416.
Pam,
Hey chica, I’m going to miss you so much. No more Taco Bell, No more #43’s from the vending machine. “Princess” doesn’t function right without you, I guess we are both going to have to try. Steve was really lucky to have been with you all of these years, you left him with alot of great memories. I will never forget you and thank you for being a part of my life. I love you Pam!!
I was very fortunate to have known you for 23 years of my life. Our friendship lasted longer than any of our relationships. : Your sense of humor had me hooked it was like mine..off the wall. Over the years, we shared marriages, and divorces, personal ups and downs and just life in general. I will miss our phone calls and emails. Your laughter was infectious.
I still can’t believe you’re gone. I just spoke to you a few weeks ago. The suddenness of this has hit me hard. It has changed my outlook on life. Life is waaaay too short… and it definitely should be longer than 53 years.
Love you, Pam. You’ll always be in my heart.
Pam I love you in so many ways, Your wit, your smile, and friendship, will never be forgotten.
Pam:
I am so grateful to have known you, but wish we would have had more time. Prelims just aren’t the same without you! I am so glad that we got to spend some time together before you left us. I will never forget you. Love ya kid! God bless!
Oh, Pammy, I will miss you so much. You always had a smile for everyone and God blessed you and me when he brought us together as friends. Spend some time with our other friends of Bill W. up there and save some seats for the rest of us. We will all be there with you someday. You are an angel. I will always love you. My prayers are strong for your family. I sit here at my desk with tears in my eyes and shame for not seeing you in so long. Thanks for the reminder that we MUST keep in touch with loved ones as life can be over just like that. I’m sorry for not being there for you in the end but you know I love you more than chocolate. Good bye, my sweet angel.

Pam
I can say nothing but thank you. I dont have to go into detail but words cannot express my gratitude. You were there when I needed you must and stayed true to your word. Thank you is not good enough to express the way I feel it goes beyond just thanks. You are truly a blessing. Love You!
To the Family of Pam,
I was surprised and sorry to read of Pam’s passing! I worked with Pam during her years at Benton County District Court. The office was first located in Richland City Hall on the main floor; and, I was a detective with Richland PD and worked in the basement. That is where I first got to know Pam, since I was always going to the office to get warrants signed. Pam was always there with a beaming smile and pleasant greeting!! Then the office moved to the Kennewick Justice Center where I continued going to get my warrants signed. Pam always took time to come over and say hello! We would visit and then I’d be on my way.
My visits with Pam and her happiness would always make me smile. I can still picture her and hear her laughter!
I lost track of Pam after I retired in 1989 but saw her once several years later while she was walking on the river walk in Howard Amon Park. She recognized me sitting in my car and made it a point to come over and discuss old times. Pam still had that infectious smile and laugh. Not only will I miss her but he smile and laugh. But at least I have fond memories of her!
She’s probably sitting to the right of God and telling him a good story!
Sincerely,
Lee Bush
