Scott Allen Meacham

Scott Allen Meacham Tattoo Artist Extraordinaire Scott Allen Meacham, resident of Stanfield, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness in Benton City, Washington. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Joe; stepfather, Tim; sister Laura and brother Ted. He is survived by his daughter, Jazmyne; mother, Connie; brothers Craig, Mark, and Chris; and sister, Kelly; and uncle, Bill Schwab.

Scott was born in Phoenix on March 23, 1959 and passed away on October 4th, 2007. He was 48 years old. He grew up in Maryvale and graduated from Buckeye Union High School. Scott was a graphic artist and excelled at painting, silkscreen, and drawing. He began a career in ''skin art'' as he called it, Tattoo, in 1980 and developed his talents for over 27 years. He was well kn~wn. in biker circles from Tempe to' Yakima and Coeur D'Alene to Sturgis. Scott loved the desert and when he was not working on someone's favorite tattoo he was close to nature. He traveled allover the state of Arizona as a young man. Scott knew the nuances of the desert and the peace it brings especially to those of us who are old natives of the Phoenix landscape. Scott was a desert rat if ever there was one. He lived alone in the desert for nearly 20 years without electricity. He was a gentle giant and is sorely missed by all. His kind-hearted considerations were always welcome wherever he found himself. Scott saved more than one hawk in the wild and if there were a connection to any animals besiges his dogs it would be the red-tail hawk. Scott was always connected to Native American heritage and he is one of the last of an authentic'breed of men. My brother was one-of-a-kind and like the great Phoenix bird, we wait, watch, and hope for him to rise again.

We miss you ... Always and Forever.
