Bertha A. Randle, 86, of Richland, passed away January 31, 2008 at Kadlec Medical Center. She was born January 18, 1922 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma and lived in the Tri-Cities for 35 years.

Bertha married Woodson Randle on March 9, 1941. She enjoyed fishing and camping trips and was proud to have lived to see her great-great-grandchildren. She was strong, and fought a tough battle to good health. Doctors and nurses called her the miracle lady.

Bertha loved working as a nurse’s aide in a nursing home and being a cook in a restaurant. As a nurse’s aide, she brought home a little ol’ lady and took care of her.

Survivors include Juanita and Vern Bailey, Larry and Irene Randle, Gary and Sue Sloan, Kenny and Jennifer Sloan, Juanita Sissy and Frank Vedder, Shane Derrick and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodson Randle and by her son Jesse Joe Randle.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Einan’s Funeral Home, Richland, with graveside to follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Richland. Visitation will be Wednesday the 6th from 5:00-8:00 PM, also at Einan’s.
