Lawrence Kasselder, 90, of Pasco, passed away January 1, 2008 at Kadlec Medical Center, Richland. He was born July 14, 1917 in Pryor, OK and lived in the Tri-Cities for 52 years. Lawrence worked as a laborer and was an Army veteran.

Larry loved his wife, children and grandchildren very much. Larry was a proud family man, always willing to give a hand to anyone who needed one. He enjoyed being in the outdoors even if it meant just sitting in the front yard of his home. Any animal was greatly loved by Larry.

He had the ability to make his grandchildren, and others, laugh. But most of all he adored and loved his precious wife and best friend of 37 years, Dorthea “Dottie” Kasselder, who preceded him in death. The Lord has finally reunited this special couple.

Also preceding are his parents Jacob Woodrow and Maud Agusta Kasselder; son Bill; sisters Mable Mead, Blanch Foster and Jennie Kelley; brothers Richard Kasselder and Jake Kasselder.

Survivors include children Tracy Kasselder and wife Doreen, Grant Kasselder; George Johnson, Marie Olin, David Johnson, Regina Brooks, Darwin Thompson and Larry Thompson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Einan’s Funeral Home, Richland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at Einan’s Funeral Home, where they will be applied toward final expenses for Larry.
