  • There are three kinds of people that I have met in this life. There are those that make you sad, there are those that do not impact you at all, and then there is the third, those that make you laugh and see the better side of life. If there ever was a person that fit the third it was Big Jim. No matter what, if Big Jim saw you were down he would find some way to make you smile, if even for just a moment. So while this may be our temporary loss, Big Jim is going to a bigger and better assignment.

May God Bless and keep Big Jim very close to him because he is a very specical person.

  • I worked with Jim at Point Beach Nuclear Plant. My husband and I became freinds with him, Maurice and Tom. What a trio! Jim, or Andy, as I called him, always made us laugh. What a great sense of humor! We will both miss him very much. Peace be with you Andy.

  • Gordon and family,

I was so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing, please accept my condolences. I have always considered Jim a friend since our days in grade school at Lewis and Clark. We played lots of ball games in our old neighborhood, great memories of Jim. He was a great athlete and a great guy. I am sure he and Jim Hawkins are trying to get a game going as I write this.

    With our deepest sympathies,
