Dennis M. Prochaska

Dennis Milan Prochaska died Sept 4, 2008 surrounded by his children, his brother and his life partner.

He was born November 19, 1933 in Lidgerwood North Dakota to Edward Prochaska and Margaret Svestka Prochaska.

He started working after the death of his father at an early age. He had many odd jobs from farming to oil rigging. In 1950 he moved to Kennewick and in 1953 he met and married Barbara Jean Basham the mother of his six children.

In 1965 he started working for S.P& S. railroad, which later became Burlington Northern. He retired from there in 1985 after making many life long friends.

After retiring he learned to relax and enjoy life. Fishing, camping and restoring antique cars. But he couldn't hardly wait for the NASCAR races to start #3 don't call him on race day.

Dennis is survived by his children LaDebra Prochaska-Todd Windle, Cindy Conrad Donald, Sherry Mathiesen Mike, Gerry Prochaska, Shane Prochaska Patty and Shannon Miller. He is also survived by his adopted daughter Priscilla Pringle Randy, and his life partner of 17yrs. Roselle Miller and her three children; Tina Rodgers Dave, Twila RobertsRick and Melody Crook Richard. 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren along with his brother Kenneth Prochaska and sister Patricia Pat Brummond and numerous nieces and nephews survive him.

He is preceded in death by his father and Mother and his first wife.

There will be a memorial service celebration of life at the Finley Grange 223005 corner of Main St. and Finley Rd. on Sept. 13th. Between l:00 PM-4:00 PM.
