Lloyd Dale Kron
Lloyd Dale Kron was preceded in death by father, mother and two brothers. He was the oldest of three boys. Both parents were born in Sweden. They met in Nebraska and were married in 1920. Lloyd's family moved to Richland in 1934, where he remained the rest of his life.
Lloyd was born on May 10, 1921 in Loup City, Nebraska and passed on September 29, 2008 in Richland. He worked in the CCC Civilian Conservation Corps as a young man.
He served in the U.S. Army, a veteran of World War II Europe, Asia and Alaska. Lloyd was a lifetime member of Richland VFW Post 7952, as well as a Mason. He retired as a bus driver after 44 years at Hanford. He had a long full life after surviving two open heart surgeries in Spokane.
He enjoyed camping and fishing, was an avid card player and loved to cook. He would faithfully meet his friends every day at the Richland Spudnut Shop and have his cinnamon roll.
He was a fan of baseball, his favorite team being the Mariners.
He died in his home very quietly in his sleep.
Memorial will be held at the Richland VFW Post 7952 at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 5th. Potluck will follow.
He is survived by two children, John Kron and Patty Hutchison; his lifetime friend and ex-wife Rose Kron; three grandchildren, Jason Kron, Kellee Hutchinson and Kevin Kron; two great-grandchildren, Kailee and Skylar.
He will be loved and missed greatly.
I will miss Lloyd dearly at the spudnut, I teased him daily and had so much fun with him, Lloyd whenever I heat a cinn. roll I will think of you. :

You will be missed. Sitting on the bench , playing a game of pool or having a drink Pepsi together is a memory now that will not be forgotten, Thank you for being a friend.

Our Grandpa LLoyd kron left us unexpedidly. He was the most wonderful man you will ever of known. I will miss him so very much, He was also so very awnry..lol those who knew him will have a great laugh on him character and personality. Grandpa had a wonderful life being a husband and a dad of 2. have 3 wonderful grandchildren 2 boys and a girl… He even made it to be a great grandpa in which some never make it. But he was the best great grandpa to my 2 children kailee and skylar, They love their papa lloyd more than anything. i miss ya grandpa. I wish that i would have been able to tell you again how much i love you and how much this family loves you. You mean so much to us and evey one that knew you. boy we all had fun at your naches campground then spending 4 years out at mardon resort. you sure did love the peacefull ness up there. . you always loved the holidays but on christmas your were sure the top scroodge. Everyday when i go to work i will have so many fond memories of you. since you talked me into applying at the Dollar store. because that was your favorite place to shop.. You were such an amazing cook and your loved it and it showed. all your great pals at the spudnit shop will totally miss your smile they had your there for 9 years. all your vfw friends that you have known for 50+ years. you bonded so well with them all. your truly an amazing guy and i wish you were still here, I love you and so does kailee and skylar,, Rest in Peace now. see you at the cross roads..
