Bertha Clarkson Roylance 93 born July 7, 1915 passed away October 17, 2008 at her home in Mattawa Washington. She was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, married Harvey Roylance and they have five children. They resided in Utah, Idaho and Washington including Eltopia and Connell and a cattle ranch in Tonasket where they lived for over thirty years. She loved her life as the wife of a farmer and rancher. Adored by her children and grandchildren, she was an avid flower gardener, talented painter and excellent cook. A faithful member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Bertha was preceded in death by her husband Harvey of fifty-four years, two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law Bob and Susan Roylance or South Jordan, Utah; daughter and son-in-law Joan and Rees Risenmay of Mattawa Washington; daughter and son-in-law Eydie and Brent Borup of Yakima, Washington; son Keith Roylance of Ukatan Alaska; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Pam Roylance of Quincy, Washington; and thirty-one grandchildren, one hundred eleven great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday October 25, 2008 at the Wahluke Ward building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 11318 Rd 24 SW, Mattawa, WA. The viewing will be at 9:30 AM, funeral service at 11:00 AM, followed by the graveside service at Bess Hampton Cemetery in Othello Washington.
