Beverly married Albert J. Powell in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on February 3, 1949. They are the loving parents of three children: Don Powell, married to Becky; Sandra Fullmer, married to Bill; and Lisa Logan, married to Matt. The lives of Bev and Jay have been blessed with fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister, Helen Goodsell.
Beverly's life and time were spent loving and serving her husband, children and grandchildren. She truly spent her life if their selfless service and found great joy and happiness therein.
Beverly provided countless hours of service and leadership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as Richland Stake Relief Society president, primary worker, librarian, and as a worker at the Family History Center in Richland and in the Seattle Washington Temple.
She found great enjoyment in family history, sewing, quilting, cooking, camping and boating. She often could be found working in her yard, playing board games or reading with her grandchildren. They love her.

I remember times from my teenage years in the 1980s spent around Beverly Powell. She was a fun woman to be around — happy, engaging, strong, and loving. I have met too few people like her; she was a person of great and wonderful qualities. My love goes to her and her family.
We are sorry for your loss. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. We love you. Brad, Kim, & kids
Don and Becky–Our sincere condolences on your loss. We are thinking about you.–Daryl and Pat Jonson
Hi Don, Sandy, and Lisa,
I am sorry for the loss of your loving mom. She was a wonderful woman to everyone she ever met. She and your dad were especially important to our folks and us. She actually brought Mom home from the hospital with Kenny as Dad was out of town. I never saw her without a smile on her face. She was invaluable as decisions had to be made in Mom’s care and safety. She was always a welcoming person. It was sad when Ken called me this morning with the news of her passing. I believe that she is finally at peace and no longer suffering, and that she is reunited with your dad, all in God’s loving embrace. I pray we will all see her again. My love, prayers, and condolances go out to you all and your families. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.
Love,
Sheryl
