  • Derek was a special man who was always willing to help out, whether it was waiting with me for a locksmith in a thunderstorm, taking brush to the dump or picking up and delivering a lawnmover with the trailer that he was so proud of… He loved to keep cookies in his pockets for his furry friends, to tell his stories, and to keep everyone entertained and educated about all things English. He was very proud of his service to his adopted country and had a strong sense of helping others. He will be missed. May his memory be eternal. Deepest sympathies to all who hold his memory dear in their hearts and memories.

  • Romans 14:7-8

7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

    We will miss you.
