Bill Davenport passed away Saturday the 25th of October 2008 in Richland, Washington. He was born in Bismark, North Dakota on November 13, 1938 to Leonard Sr. and Nadeen Davenport. Bill married Billie June Eynon on December 9, 1986 in Prosser, Washington.
Bill loved to watch Nascar racing and play Bingo. Sitting on a select hill and watching trains go by was another one of his favorite pastimes.
Bill drove trucks and worked for Dee's Produce as a man of all trades. Bill was a chief mechanic for his brother-in-law John Eynon the race car driver. Bill's nieces and nephews remember him as a fun loving and ornery man who made them laugh.

He is also survived by brother Charles H. Davenport of West Richland and sister Genevieve and brother-in-law Leslie Kessle of Bismark, N.D.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Alfred, Floyd, Leonard Jr., and George and sisters Gertrude, Florence, and Mary Ann; nephews David Davenport and Alvin Davenport.
Bill will be missed by friends and family.
Services will be held Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 at Einan's Funeral Home at 1:00 PM in Richland, with a graveside service to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Benton City.
