The Zhang Family:
To The Zhang Family,
I am just a paitent of Dr. Zhangs.
My heart goes out to all of you in your loss I am sure Mr Zhang was a very kind man. Our prayers are with you all.
We are sorry for your loss, the Ben Franklin Van #228 group was visited just about every morning by Shunian on his walk around the block. He would give every one on the van a lesson in Chinese and we would work on English with Shunian.
I recognized his picture in the obituary. I never knew his name! But, that doesn’t matter, for he was the kindest and most friendly of men. We could just barely communicate, but his smile and gentle nature spoke volumes! I am a retired bus driver for Ben Franklin transit, and it was my pleasure to have had Mr.Zhang and his charming wife on my bus. Without exception, he ALWAYS greeted me and my passengers with a big smile and a very cheery “Hello!,Hello!” and when leaving, he would ALWAYS smile, wave, and say to us, “Goodbye, Goodbye,” many times. We all loved him for that, as he made US feel good! What an amazing life he had. My sincere condolances to his wife, his family, and his friends. May God bless this gentle man and keep him, and reward him for his good deeds.
Dr. Zhang, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
I was very sad to hear about Mr. Zhang. I looked forward to his & Mac’s morning visits to us on Van #228. We had fun trying to learn Chinese!!
