Marylynn Lea Krumm

Marylynn Lea Krumm, 65, of Richland, WA passed away peacefully with her son at her side on February 10, 2009. Lynn was born in Seattle, Washington on March 2, 1943 to Betty Lou Bowers Mohaupt and Bill H. Mohaupt.

At the age of three Lynn and her family relocated to a farm near Omak, Washington, where she spent her childhood. She attended Omak public schools, graduating from Omak High School in 1961. Growing up, Lynn was active in her 4H club and was a member of the Ghost Riders Horse Drill Team.

Following graduation she attended Eastern Washington College in Cheney, Washington. Lynn settled in the Spokane area with her son Del where Lynn was employed by local businesses in a variety of roles. Eventually she moved to Port Hadlock on the Olympic Peninsula, where she was employed as a book keeper. Her next move took her to Snohomish, Washington; there she worked in the retail furniture business as an office manager.

In September of 2001 Lynn moved again to Richland, Washington to be closer to her family following a serious health issue. Her courage and determination to overcome the limitations that faced her was an inspiration to all who knew her. Lynn dealt with life on her own terms.

Lynn loved life and lived it to the fullest, always ready for the next adventure. She participated in a competitive dance team, specializing in line dancing. She traveled in the Pacific Northwest and Canada for several years with this group. Lynn enjoyed the outdoors and particularly liked hunting and fishing with her family and road trips in the family camper with her mother and father. Lynn never met an animal she didn't love, especially horses and her beloved pets. The light of her life was her son, Del and his family. She was also actively involved in the lives of her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her ready smile, wonderful laugh and generosity to all, especially anyone who she thought was an underdog.

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Bill Mohaupt. She is survived by her son, Del Cami Krumm and their children Ryan and Chase; her mother, Betty Lou Mohaupt; her sister, Bobbie Richard Bull, all of Richland Washington; nieces, Greta Bull Julian Davies, and their children Max and Isabel of Lima, Peru; Erika Bob Visse and their children, Hannah and Ben of Woodinville; Marta Bull Joe Pursley and daughter, Minka in Seattle; nephew, Jeffrey Bull Tania Perry and their children Audrey and Lily of Portland and last, but not least, her much-loved dog, Misha, and cat, Mitsy.

A memorial service will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Riverside Memorial Park in Spokane Washington on Saturday, February 14, 2009. Expressions of sympathy may include flowers or donations in Lynn Krumm's name to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children; 911 W. 5th Ave.; Spokane, WA 99204-2901.
