Michael Dean Powers, 56, passed away February 23, 2009 in Richland, Washington. Born November 15, 1952 in Montana and raised primarily in Seattle, 0 Mike was a 1971 graduate of Chief Sealth High School. He loved his family, fiancé, friends and the wondrous outdoors.

Mike is survived by his children, Danny, Marci and Maegen Powers, father, John Powers, brother and sisters John Powers, Patti Gunter, Sandi Pettit, and Cindy Weston, and fiancé, Deborah Chapman. Preceding him were his mother Nora Powers and brother Danny J. Powers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Memories at Sunset Event Center, on the grounds of Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland. Donations in his memory can be made to the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
