For the Family of John Frederick Keller
From the Kennewick Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution
There are no words to express the sorrow of losing a loved one. It is a pain that only time will heal. While we did not know John personally, as DAR members, we honor his commitment to our country and his service in its defense. The DAR strongly supports our nations’ military, and we recognize the personal sacrifice that each member gives, as well as their families.
To that end, we offer you our heartfelt condolences, and prayers of comfort. We thank you for John’s service, and his sacrifice to our country.
May God bless you and comfort you as you remember just how very special John was to his family, and his country.
In grateful remembrance,
The members of the Kennewick Chapter DAR

Simply a prince of a man with the kindest heart …..I will miss our chats at the grocery store seems it’s the only time I had a chance to stop and visit, sadlyand the rich and colorful stories he always had to share. He will be missed! All my best to his family who were clearly top priority in his life!!!
John always had a smile and loved to talk about what the girls were doing. His love for his family showed in everything he did. He never met a stranger and could talk with anyone. He will be missed.
I have worked with John’s brother, Richard, for many years at the Food and Drug Administration and would like to express my deepest sympathies to Rich and the rest of the family.
John made an impact on me in my speech class at Shepherd. I had a huge amount of respect for him as a leader and as the brother of my best college buddy, Rich. I wish his family well, I know they will miss him
I am very sorry to hear of the family’s great loss. I can tell from the obituary that John was a very special person – I work with his brother Richard. My sympathy, Ann Hollander
John is my older brother. He had eclectic tastes in music, and he turned me on to classical and jazz music. John was also a fan of the humorist and author Jean Shepherd, and he turned me on to Jean Shepherd’s radio show in New York City back in the ’60s as well as Shepherd’s books.
John and I were students at Shepherd College now University in the ’70s. He graduated magna cum laude and was a McMurran Scholar, the University’s highest academic honor. He made a huge impact on fellow students, staff and faculty. My history professor described John as the type of student who comes along once in a teaching career.
John was a great cook, host and conversationalist. I will miss him.
Dear Laurie and family,
John was a great guy! Shepherd was better because of John. Our memories of those college days were better because of John! God bless you all!
It is very clear that John was a dynamic and good man. As a friend of his brother, Rich, I send my warmest embrace to his family. You will all be in my prayers and thoughts.
Peace, Keith
