Marian Elizabeth Johnson

Marian E. Johnson, 86 years old, died July 25 in Richland following a short illness. She was born in Dearborn, MI October 23, 1922 to Willis Edward Johnson, SR and Winifred Marian Moore Johnson. Marian had an older brother, Willis Johnson, JR, who predeceased her, and a younger sister, Doris Lorraine Johnson Wade, who survives. She was predeceased as well by a half-sister, Sharon Lee Vosberg, of Ohio.

Marian never married so had no babies of her own to love on; however she doted on and spoiled nieces Marcia Wade of Richland, Cara and Beth Vosberg of Kettering, OH, and nephews Dan Wade of Richland and James Wade of Phoenix, AZ. She was excited to be a part of the lives of her nephews' and nieces' children, locally Ben and Felicia Hausenbuiller of Richland, Elizabeth and Ivan Tyshchuk of Richland, and Brian Wade of Richland. She longed for visits from those in far-flung areas, Phil and Bree Wade in Bellingham, WA, Rob and Brandi Hausenbuiller of St. Paul, MN. She frequently expressed the longing to "get my hands and kisses on" great-great-nieces and –nephews Myra, Jamie, Alex, Tyler, Cody, Gracie, Devin, Asher, Bailey, Zahara, Andrew and Lucas.

Marian faithfully attended Richland Assembly of God Church for Sunday School and worship. Those she fellowshipped with were immediately accepted as family, especially newborns and toddlers! Many in the church family including, Pastors Ryan Smith and Mark Henshaw, called her "Auntie", which pleased her beyond measure.

The funeral service is planned for Friday, July 31st, 2:00 PM at Einan's Funeral Home, with visitation Thursday the 30th from 5:00-8:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Tri-Cities Teen Challenge Jail Ministry or Safe Harbor Crisis Nursery.
