Words cannot express how bad we feel for you Mike. We care so much for the two of you. So many wonderful memories… May God bless you and your family.
When someone passes you love dearly every day there are signs of them. From the moment you get up to the moment you go to bed. Cherish these moments and realize that these are coping skills to get you through this difficult time. Time does heal but it is a process that you have to go thru where you’ll remember the smile, the laughter, the time of crying, or the first moment’s you shared together.
Take the time to remember the little items that brought you together as a family and pass these legacy’s down thru the generations of your families by sharing stories or writing down those special or funny moments as time passes quickly; then those stories are forgotten.
We had the opportunity to work with Janet in the Tank Farms where we got to experience first hand her laughter. We shared a common thread of our daughters being named Leah, which we laughed about many times the teenage moments. We discussed how important family was, the many adventures of upcoming weekends/vacations or how we wanted to be at home instead of work. How in reality the time passed quickly. In the years of passing away from work — hurrying to work or home —there was a toot from the horn or a wave to gesture a “hello”.
Our sympathy goes out to your family at this time of sorrow and we wanted to let you know you are not alone in this process of healing.
