Marian Eleanor Bruno

Marian E. Bruno Bailey, 89, a 66 year resident of Richland, passed away on October 1, 2009 at her home. She was born September 17, 1920 in Eden, ID where she was raised on farms and ranches and helped her father until 1935 when she met her husband George in Mackay, ID. She married George in Arco, ID in 1936.

After she married George in 1936, they traveled, while working in various construction jobs and she kept the home until they moved to Richland, WA to work on the Hanford Site and raised her family.

Marian enjoyed taking care of her family and providing them with all of the love and caring that she had. With George she raised two children Elaine and Tim who she loved dearly and both of whom returned that love.

She had a life long interest in China and even took time to visit China and Hong Kong. This trip she often spoke of. Marian was a member of Richland Lutheran Church and she helped at Physical Therapy Aide for Kadlec Medical Center.

Marian is survived by her son, Tim Bruno; daughter, Delores Elaine Welp husband Ted; sister, Margery Hogue husband Wayne and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bruno; parents, Grover Cleveland Bailey and Minni Roberta Bailey Rogers.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 6 & 7, at Einan's Funeral Home from 8:00am to 8:00pm.
