  • Chris is one of the most beautiful and kind persons I have ever known. She has been such an inspiration to so many as she faced the ugly realities of ALS. My condolences to the family; I wish I could have attended Chris’s service but was out of state at the time.

  • We lived next to the Lusty family on Fuller Street and right down the street from the Roskes and so enjoyed our time in the neighborhood. Chris was such a nice girl and all the kids had so much fun on all of their “adventures” through the years. Our deepest condolences to Chris’s children & her extended family. Even though she had a long struggle with a horrible disease, it sounds as though she lived her life with courage and great passion. Godspeed Christine.

  • Chris,

We laughed until we cried and cried until we laughed. We enjoyed food, flowers and amazing adventures along the way. You shared your faith and family. In doing so, I witnessed a mother, with amazing grace, raise three sons in her spirit. You showed me that life can stomp and kick you, but that’s no reason to stay down. Get up and move forward.

A friend is like an eagle…you don’t find them flying in flocks. Meeting you was a blessing. Thank you friend. You’re in my heart forever.

  • Christine,

You have been and will continue to be a living testimony to the power of the Human Spirit over adversity. The lessons you have taught me about love, strength, courage, and hope are far from over. Your love will continue to reach and teach, for each of us changed by your love, will love others, and keep passing it on, quite literally, into eternity. I love you, baby.

  • Christine’s family, I want you to know how blessed I feel to have known Chris and worked with her! We shared many hours, and she was always so loving and kind, and hopeful, and wise. You all know that. She helped me through my grief for my Dad, and blessed me by letting me help her in ways that I could not do for my father. I asked her advice many times, and she was always generous of spirit. I know she continues to live and will watch over you more easily now that she is no longer bound to the limitations of this life. I cherish her, and I cherish my association with you ALL.

  • To Chris:I know that you are now free from the only thing that held you back, your body. I gained so much from you directly and by watching you interact with others. My hope and aspiration is that I am able to take what you gave to me and pass it on to others. If I am able to be even ¼ of the woman you were, I will have accomplished much. I love you and miss you and will NEVER forget you.

To Chris’ Family: Thank you all so much for welcoming me into your lives. I so appreciate how you shared Chris with me when I needed her the most. My heart goes out to you all.
