Lori and Bill, I am so sorry to hear about Nancy. She always treated me with respect, courtesy and friendship. Here is a verse I have saved for years and I would like to share with you now:”Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard His call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to cook or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, O yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savored much, good friends, good times, loved one’s touch. Perhaps my life seemed all too brief, don’t lengthen it now with undue grief, lift up your hearts, and peace to thee. God wanted me now, He set me free. Goodby Nancy.
Lori and Bill I am so sorry for your loss. I pray the Lord give you comfort through this time and meet every need. Please know you are in my heart and in my prayers. In Christ Love, Terri Jones
Bill and Lori, You are both in my thoughts during this time. When I think of Nancy I can hear her wonderful laugh. Lori, I remember watching her as you sang, she was so proud of you. I hope you find comfort in days to come. Please know she is among angels!
Mr. Tyler and Lori
It was always a special thing when Lori would bring Mrs. Tyler ‘s holiday treats to the bandstand. There was a little magic in each of those little hand sewn bags of candy, and I could always feel her love for Lori as she passed them on to us.
The light in her eyes when watching Lori at our gigs always touched me and made me smile.
She was a proud mother and rightfully so.
Somewhere, I still have a few of those little homemade holiday bags.
See you on Tuesday.
