  • My brother Spurge EM’d & advised me of your loss. Mom Ruby called & also told me the sad news. Mom & Dad enjoyed Gene & Nedra’s surprise visits sooooo much the last couple of years. I remember seeing Gene & Nedra mostly when I was a little girl hanging out at Great Aunt Evelyn’s…..& I remember thinking, “Wow, that Gene guy is really tall!!” HA!! Our family is truly sorry for your loss.

  • Nedra and Family I was so sorry to read about Gene. I’ve been thinking of you so often. I miss talking with you from the days at Kadlec. I need to come visit you. My prayers go out to all of you during this time of Loss. Just know that time heals our hearts to gives us the strength to cope without him. I never knew him closely but do remember him very much, and know he was very special to many friends and family. He will be missed. Love to you all.

  • My sincere condolence’s to NEDRA & family. I was very fond of Gene i.e. long ago when I first joined the FD. Gene took me under his wing & made a Firefighter out of me. He was a pleasure to be around & aside from work, we had many enjoyable fishing & hunting trips. God bless his soul & all his family..

  • Gene will be missed, my heart goes out to you. My memories of Gene go way back when my brother Ken married Gloria. Gene and Nedra accepted our family with open arms. What a great family. One of my earliest great memories is when Gene and Nedra took us all out water skiing, it was my first time water skiing and what a great time it was. Gene was a very special person, especialy to my nephew Kevin, he was very close to Gene-In fact even followed in his footsteps, Keven is a Hanford fire fighter as was his Grandfather. I think that is the biggest honor of all. God Speed.
