Dave F. Mohr

Dave F. Mohr, 70, of Richland, WA, passed away on May 16, 2010 in Richland. He was born on Whitewater, WI and grew up on a farm in Custer, WA. Dave attended 1st grade thru 9th grade in Custer, WA school district, and spent 1 hour on bus when in high school in Ferndale, WA. He had no time for sports had to be back at farm to due farm work.

Sundays were the only free days from farm work. His brother and he would go ride their bikes to Birch Bay or ride along highway 99 looking for loot that people who would be crossing the Canadian border would toss items out of car windows so they would not have to declare them when the crossed the border.

Both Dave and his Brother agreed that once they graduated from high school they would leave the farm. Dave lived in the basement of his brother's home in Pasco, WA, for 2 years while he attended classes at CBC College. He worked at 9 to 9 Auto parts in Pasco; he then transferred to an auto parts store in Glasgow, Mt, which contracted to the military for parts. This is where he met Ardelle his wife.

Some of the proudest moments of Dave's life were, marrying his wife Ardelle, raising their two daughters Linda, and Cheryl, and having fun birthday parties, their weddings, and his grand kids Sabrina, Jessica, and Amanda. He was also proud of some of his career accomplishments. Dave worked for Richland Auto Supply as a manager, worked for Jacobs and Rhodes Heating and Air Conditioning services for many years, and then he went to work out on The Hanford site as a pipe fitter and transferred over to the RES HVAC team thru many new company changes. Dave's knowledge of cars and air conditioning and everything else was amazing.

Dave has an abundant amount of friends, who would meet at the Spudnut shop to shoot the breeze every morning at 4:30a.m. Sundays they would meet at Sterlings that was the only day the Spudnut Shop was not open. He never missed a meeting with them.

Thank you: to his friends who were with him last Saturday may 8th, 2010.

The family would like to thank, Dr. Jimal, Dr. Murad, Dr. Sado, and Nurses Emily and Keith and all others and the RICHLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT.

He is survived by his wife, Ardelle F. Mohr; Linda L. Lampton daughter and her husband Marc and their daughters, Sabrina J. Elliott and Amanda M. Lampton granddaughters; daughter Cheryl A. Johnson daughter and her husband Gordon Johnson and their daughter, Jessica Johnson granddaughter. • To the Mohr family and all who knew him,

Dave will be missed by all who knew him. The squirrels on the Richland Shelter belt will miss their daily feeding that Dave and his wife so diligently did every day. A man with many talents will be missed. Lots of knowledge gone now. Dave was always there for his friends. We had lots of laughs. God bless him. He will hard to replace.

    Thanks Dave,
