Marie Work, 94, of Richland, WA died at Hospice House in Kennewick, WA, on June 13, 2010 after surviving a severe stroke.
Marie was born on Jan. 7, 1916 in Buffalo, MO. She is preceded in death by her husband Earl Work on September 28, 1996 also her brother Roscoe Evans; parents, William Evans and Mary Bartee Evans. Marie is survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
The family wants to express their thanks to the staff at Guardian Angel and Hospice House for all their loving care, prayers and support. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 10:00am at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland, WA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House, 2108 W. Entiat Ave., Kennewick, WA 99336.
Although we did not know until now that Marie passed away, we thought we would say a few words now even though it has been 9 months. We were very close with Marie and Earl while we lived in Richland 42 years ago. We kept in touch all the years that we could. When we returnd to Richland, we always visited them. While Marie lived longer than Earl, we visited her while she was in the Guardian Angel. We miss her dearly. May God Bless her and her family.
