E. Violet Brandt
Edna Violet Vi Brandt, 95, passed away on June 22, 2010 at Hospice at The Chaplaincy in Kennewick, Washington. A memorial service will be held for her at Einan's Funeral Home and Crematorium in Richland, Washington, on July 1st• A private family dinner will be held on Thursday evening.
Vi was the daughter of Harold and Nelsina Eggen, who were original settlers south of the Joplin/Inverness area on the Hiline in Montana. She attended school in Inverness and after she finished she married Harold Brandt. They lived in Inverness where they had three children. In 1950 they moved to their farm between Rudyard and Inverness and lived there until retirement in 1982. From 1982-¬1994 they lived in Great Falls and then moved to Richland, Washington to be near their daughter.
During Vi's time in the Inverness/Rudyard area she was an active member of the Joplin Chapter of Eastern Star and was a member of the Inverness Methodist Church. She was active in several other local area organizations.
Vi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Brandt and son, Dale Brandt, two brothers, Clifton Eggen and Adolf Eggen and two sisters, Mayetta Olson and Pearl Moore.
She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Deanie Cicon and her husband, Howard Cicon formerly of Chester and now in Richland, Washington, and her daughter Shirley who is married to Jeff Beresford they live in Australia and her daughter-in-law Ellene Ishmael Brandt formerly of Ronan, Montana and now in Pennsylvania. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren, Coleen Brandt Painter from the Philadelphia area, Jeff Bradford from Idaho Falls, Id, Jim Bradford from Boulder, Co, Gayle Cicon Black from Idaho Falls, Id. Chris Brandt from Denver, Co., Pamela Cicon LaMarr from Richland, Wa. and Kay Brandt from Nashville, Tn and 18 great-grandchildren.

Sorry for your loss but she is in a better place and feeling great.
I am so sorry for your loss. Vi was such a lovely lady, full of joy and she had a quick, welcoming smile. I enjoyed her at Richland Gardens for many years. God bless you all.
