Gordon Franklin Totten
Gordon Franklin Totten went home to meet his Heavenly Father June 15, 2010 at his home in Richland, WA.
He was born on a train in Mingo County, West Virginia and raised in Radford, Virginia until he joined the Marine Corps straight out of high school. He was honorably discharged after 6 years of service. He later joined the Army and honorably served for twenty years. He lived and worked in Idaho for six years before moving to the Tri-Cities in 1980. He spent the last 25 years working for ConAgra Foods.
His favorite past time was spending time with his kids and grand kids in the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing.
He was born to Charles and Betty Totten and was the third of eight children.
He is survived by his two brothers and four sisters, his children and grandchildren. Sean Sara Totten, their daughters, Audra and Annabelle, of Pasco, Washington. Charles Totten and his son, Cyrus, of Richland, Washington. Sarah Mark Malone of Portland, Oregon and Joseph Totten of Athena, Oregon. He was also survived by his long time companion, Gail Hills. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty and his sister, Theresa Totten. He leaves behind countless memories, good stories, family and friends that will always love him.
A memorial service will be held at Richland Baptist Church 1632 George Washington Way in Richland on June 19, 2010 at 11 am. A Military Honor service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens 915 By- Pass Highway in Richland.
You were good man and will be missed greatly by the ones who truly knew you. God Bless you and your family.
Gordan was a great friend to us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. We will miss our good friend.
I worked with Gordon for several years he was always an all around great person. Gordon always took great pride in his family.
