Pat was born in Ashmoor, Montana to George & Ruth Robertson. Upon graduating from high school she married Harold C. Klusman and moved to Richland in 1944. They raised three children. Pat graduated from Columbia Basin College with a major in Psychology and continued her education with correspondence courses at the University of Washington. Pat was Director of Service to Military Families at the American Red Cross and moved into the position of Executive Director of Benton Franklin County Red Cross. She was active in Allied Arts, AAUW, Business & Professional Women, Richland Players, Chamber of Commerce, Garden Genies Garden Club, and was a National Federation Flower judge and a judge for the American Rose Society. Pat was very active at Kadlec Auxiliary for 30 years. Surviving Pat are her three children; Judy Alegria of Spokane, Norman Klusman of Waldport, Oregon, and Janice McCurdy of Richland, and six grandchildren. Her children would like to thank all the staff who so lovingly cared for Pat at Quail Hollow Memory Care facility. Donations in her memory may be made to the Lower Valley Hospice, 3920 Outlook Road, Sunnyside, WA 98944.

At Pat’s request there will be no services.

    my Condolences to you all Grandma will be greatly missed but remember how many good times we all had with her and all the lives she has blessed in all the many things she did just know she is now with Grandpa it was a blessing for me to be there with her to usher her on to her new home

  • Rest in peace Mrs. Klusman, sorry to hear that she had passed away. I am not sure, but it must be at least 40 years since I had seen her. I am sure she will be missed by her children.
