John A. Damaskos, born Dec. 12, 1921 Yakima, WA died Sept. 21, 2010. He graduated from Davis High in 1940. After graduation he spent a year in Alaska in construction. He attended Saint Mary's in California in 1942 for flight training. Jan. 1942 he enlisted in the Army Air Force was honorably discharged in Sept. 1945.

After service he worked in sales for Glaser Bros. . In 1970 he joined Atlantic Richfield Hanford and Rockwell Hanford until his retirement in Feb. 1987. John was a faithful member of Christ the King Church and a devoted Catholic by faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling , and was an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Agiselaos and Androniki Damaskos, 3 brothers, George, Pete and Gus, and 2 sisters Angeline and Helen as well as his loving wife Patricia Ann Damaskos.

John will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 9:00am-12:00pm at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland. A graveside service will be held after the viewing at 2:30pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
