So sorry for your loss and our loss also
John was always prepared with a totaly cool story that would make me laugh. Just wanted to share that with ya. My heart goes out to his family and those of us who he made his extended family. In closing I would like to raise one last toast to one of the greatest men I had the honor of knowing…..
Oh, here’s to other meetings,
And merry greetings then;
And here’s to those we’ve drunk with,
But never can again.
Leaving Indelible Imprints
I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death.
They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.
Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
-Leo Buscaglia
It was with sadness that I learned of John’s passing. I will remember the times we spent together while in the service in Germany. I am sure that he will be missed by all.

It saddens us to hear of John’s passing. The last time I saw John he was so young. At that stage of life we all think we will live forever, but time passes and we pass. Our thoughts are with his mother Aunt Marvel and the whole family. God Bless.

I have so many fond memories of John. I can Honestly and whole Heartedly say, he is one of the best men ive had the Privilege of knowing. He was at one time My Employer and a forever friend. John was always there to lend an Ear, a shoulder to lean or cry on. John was a very Fair and Honest Person. And a True Friend. And nobody can Sing the “Rodeo Song” like he did !! Rest Peacefully my Dear Friend.
Words, however kind, can’t mend your heartache: but those who care and share your loss wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends…
At this time of sorrow, may these truths sustain you… Your loved one will always be as close as a memory, and the God of all comfort will always be as close as a prayer. You’re in our thoughts with heartfelt sympathy..Please know how much you are loved and how deeply your loss is felt by all…Remembering with you…the life of someone so dear.
Our Blessings, Terrie & Steve

I’m very sorry for your loss. I knew John from a distance but heard good things about him. I was an underclassman – went to Sacajawca and Chief Jo but moved in 57 to CA. I too served in the Army and Army Reserve and spent some time in Viet Nam 68 -69. God bless John.
