To Helen’s family……
You most likely won’t know who I am but you may remember my Mother, Lucille Cloud, who worked for your mom at Lancasters after she retired from JA Jones Construction Co in the late 1980’s. Your mother and mine became good friends during that time and even after your mom closed Lancasters, they went to dinner once a week. Your mother wrote the nicest card to my Dad, I remember, when my Mom passed away in June of 2003 and that meant so much to my Dad during that time. I came to know your mom a little bit also just through my Mom’s friendship with her and I used to stop into Lancasters to see my Mom and therefore, would also get a chance to visit with your mom. She was a great lady and a good friend to my Mom! My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time but, as with my own parents, know now that your mom is with your dad and having the best Christmas ever together in Heaven! Peace be with you all.
Sincerely, Dick Cloud
