Jean Louise Kinzer
Jean Louise Kinzer, age 76 of West Richland, WA, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center Intensive Care Unit. She was a resident of West Richland since 1994.
Jean was born to Otto & Tillis Korte in Idaho Falls, ID in August, 1934 and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1952. She met and married her husband Jack in 1960. She lived in a variety of places in the United States with her husband and children as part of his career with the US Navy including New London, CT; San Francisco, CA: Honolulu, HI; Charleston, SC; & Norfolk, VA prior to Jack's retirement from the Navy in 1978. They then lived in Oceanside, CA & Phoenix, AZ before settling in West Richland, WA.
She enjoyed the quiet environment of West Richland during the last 16 years especially her Wednesday mornings with the Christian Women's Bowling League and spent many hours in her desert garden.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack; her daughter Susan of San Diego, CA; her son Kevin and two grandchildren Jacob & Quinn of Bend, OR; and sisters Donna LaBorde of Ridgecrest, CA; Betty Rolfe of Sun Valley, NV; & Michelle Korte of Spokane, WA. She is preceded in death by her parents Otto & Tillis Korte of Idaho Falls.
Jean was dearly loved and will be missed by her husband, children and friends.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held at the Sunset Memorial Gardens at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland, WA on Thursday, January 20 at 1 pm.

We shared many laughs & fun together.We had just moved here from GA. when I first met her.She was one of the most sincere & caring ladies I had met! I will truely miss her! May God give you all the strength & comfort you need for the times ahead.
