I am sorry to hear of Michael’s passing. He was always fun to work with at the Kmart construction site. It was never a dull moment. Rest in peace now Michael until we see you again. My thoughts & prayers are with the entire Mashburn family.
You always made us smile or laugh when we would come into the office! We are so thankful to have gotten to know you. You will be missed! Love Jen and Nick
I have tried to contact Mike a couple of times over the last few years. I have not seen Mike since 1996. I was shocked to find out about Mike this late. He was one of the best friends I ever had. I still have an old business card at home. When he gave it to me I looked at it and said MLM Construction. He laughed and said “creatvie ah”. That sums up Mike, nice person with a great sense of humor. Although I had not seen him in so many years I will miss him. My love and sorrow goes out to Cindy and her family.
God Bless,
John Morgan

God bless you Michael and your family in this time that you may be close to your love ones that have gone before you as you watch over your love ones here.
Michael. You will be missed. 2 years ago Michael was instrumental in making me think about my own life when he asked me about my smoking habits. It helped to know someone else thought of it as well. I quit nearly a year and a half ago. Thank you Michael.
My deepest sympathy to all – Michael was such a dear co-worker. He made work so much fun and was the “Best” to work with. It will not be the same without him. I will miss him so much.
I was very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I haven’t seen Mike in many years although it sounds like he had been a wonderful man. I used to hang around with Mike and Cindy and Lori at Atomic Lanes when I was a teenager and early 20’s and we were on a traveling bowling league — such carefree, fun times in my life. Mike was always such a joy to be around and was kind to everyone he met. I’ll never forget his smile and his sweetness. My sympathies to his family and friends and all who loved him.
“When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.” ~Kahlil Gibran
Good-Bye little brother. Thank you for showing me that a real man isn’t afriad to let his true friends know that he loves them. I love you Bro and I will remember you always.

My deepest sympathy to the Mashburn family. Michael was always a pleasure to speak with on the phone and I will miss his calls and the time he took to always ask me how I was doing. May God Bless you and keep you in peace.
We will all miss you!!
I have many good memories of you. They will forever be a part of me. You could always make me laugh, Michael. You were my champion when no one else was. I will always miss you! May you finally be at peace Michael. I love you….
May Peace be with you Mike
Thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Very sad to hear about your loss..
There have not been many who lived on this earth quite like Michael L. Mashburn. Like the storms in life we all experience, Mike had his, but they were always accompanied by breaks of sunshine streaming down through dark, threatening clouds. For some reason it seemed that many of those pillars of sunlight fell near me, making my life brighter and happier. For this I will always be grateful for and remember my good friend. May the Lord always bless Michael L. Mashburn, his family and friends.
I miss you so much already. I’m sad for all of us but oh so happy for you. You are finally healthy and at peace. I’ll love you forever Michael. I couldn’t have asked for a better little brother. XOXO
I will always remember Mike for his courageous spirit and zeal for missionary work. He was never ashamed of who he was or what he believed in. I remember how he even had “CTR” Choose the Right put on the sleeves of our city league softball jerseys. One of my fondest memories of Mike was working for him one summer several years ago. Mike would literally sing hymns from the rooftops at the top of his lungs while laying shingles. Just a few weeks ago, on Christmas Eve, we had a chance meeting with Mike in a hotel lobby and it was like no time had past between us. After learning of his passing, I don’t believe it was mere coincidence. I learned a lot from Mike over the years and still think of him every time I do a small project around the house. I am proud to call him a friend.
We have so many great memories with Mike and his family! What a great guy he was with a wonderful zest for life, a quick and friendly smile, and always so many great stories to share! We can’t wait to see you again someday Mike and get one of those great Mike Mashburn hugs once again! Thanks for your example, love and friendship
We loved Mike and we are so sorry that he left us so soon. He was an important part of our lives in Richland and an influence for good on our children. Best wishes to all his loved ones. Ken and Margaret Petersen
I feel blessed to have been able to visit Michael in Fairbanks last month. He gave me a tour of Eielson AFB project he had been working on for some time. Employees of Osborne and PAF enjoyed a dinner together where he expressed his love for his family. Michael loved his grand kids so much and had a special sparkle in his eye when he shared their photos with me. I miss you lots but know you are in a better place now Michael and that makes me smile:
A restless spirit on an endless flight. Rest now my friend.
Gone but not forgotten.
My favorite memories will always be Michael’s laughter and his smile. Rest in Peace Michael!
Michael was a dear and gentle soul, with a generous and loving heart for all he met and knew. The quality of life must be more important than the quantity of life because Mike packed a lot of love, fun and adventure into his short time on earth. I’ll miss him.
My Thoughts and Prayers are with the family at this time of sorrow. May you find strength in knowing that Michael had so many friends and colleagues that thought so much of him. He was truly a wonderful man and will be missed by so many.
