Our deepest condolences to the family.
Thank you Grandma for the best peach cobbler, delicious watermelon even pickled and an endless supply of apricots for the backyard. We love and miss you.cannot wait to see you again.
My love and thoughts go out to the Bliss family. Joyce sounded like a wonderful, loving woman who was quite a trailblazer. I know that you have many memories of her that will hopefully help ease your loss.
Joyce’s contributions to libraries in Kennewick and Richland were much valued by generations of children–many of them grown up with children of their own. I was honored to purchase a chair form Joyce that had belonged to her mother. I always thought I would ask her to recount to me the story of the chair…She will be missed.
I met Joyce in the sunset of her life. She and I told many jokes to each other. A woman with an incredible sense of humor that always made me smile inside at each meeting with her. God bless her family and friends. She was very special.

Thank you, Mrs. Bliss, for years of dedicated library service! I’ll never forget your gentle spirit when asked to help a young kid find a certain book or reference. You gave me my first library card…and opened the world to me.
