My dearest sympathy goes to Bev & Family. I only got to know Gene for a short time while taking care of him, but enjoyed being around him. His infectious smile & laugh when he heard a joke or the stories I told of my “work adventures” will be truely missed. Also his waves goodbye. Gene was an awesome person. Everytime I hear “16 Tons” I will remember Gene.
Gene is a very special person. He was my first boss at AB Dick co. There were not many people of color in the printing industry at that time. I was sent on a call, and the customer did not want me to work on his machine, He call Gene and said send me someone else. Gene said it would take about 6 weeks because that is when we rotate again. You have a good man there, give him a chance. I will miss him. All the best to the family. Willie Hill Hill Offset Co.
Aunt Beverly, Troy & Aaron: I regret not being able to come see all of you and pay my respects. My heart and prayers are with all of you and I will always cherish the wonderful memories of Uncle Gene’s laugh and fun nature. Even though I didn’t get to see you all often, he will be greatly missed. I’m so sorry he is gone but thankful that his suffering is over. Take care.
Please accept our sincere sympathy at Gene’s passing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Rob and Margaret Lund
