Darlene Marie Cline
Darlene Marie Cline, 88, of Kennewick, WA passed away on September 3, 2011 at Kennewick General Hospital. She was born on June 24, 1923 in Fort Collins, CO to Floyd and Marie Killin and was raised with her two brothers, Duane and Donald all deceased.
Darlene learned to play the piano at an early age and continued to study and play in college. She played for the church for a few years as a substitute. Darlene followed Jack across the country in 1944 through a blizzard to be there for her war time wedding. When the Navy shipped him out, she returned to Wyoming and worked for the local telephone switch board until he returned.
She was a wife, mother and grandmother and those were her shinning accomplishments. She supported us all in our interests, endeavors and was on hand to cheer us on. Darlene had a special gift for relating to people, especially children. She was involved in her church as a leader of ladies. Everyone she met was special.
Darlene and John loved to travel; they spent a year in Tuscan, visited Europe, Tunisia, Australia, New Zealand and had many good RV trips. She was a member of the Sunnyside Presbyterian Church and the P.E.O in Sunnyside, Prosser and Richland.
Darlene is survived by her husband John Jack Cline of Kennewick, Sharon Smircich of Port Angeles, WA. Sid Cline Debbie of Pasco, WA, six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held today Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 2:00pm at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland with visitation on hour prior to the service.

Dear Jack. We were out of town, so were unable to attend the service for Darlene. She was a lovely lady and I enjoyed being with her in PEO. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Carolyn Williams
