David Lamont Darrington
I'm Gone now, but I'm still very near. Death can never separate us. Each time you feel a gentle breeze, Feel my special hug for each of you, Each time the wind blows, It carries my happy whistle in your ear. When the wind blows your hair ever so slightly, Think of it as me pushing a few stray hairs back in place. When you feel a few raindrops fall on your face, It's me placing soft kisses. When the plants and flowers bloom, remember you were each a special flower to me. At night look up in the sky and see the stars shining so brightly. I'm one of those stars and I'm winking at you and smiling with delight. For never forget you are my very heart and that I will always be with you.

I am very sorry to hear of David’s passing. Though I’ve lost touch over the years, I was fond of David and the family during my early career wit DOC in the Tri-Cities. David was an exceptional person and my and my wife’s thoughts and prayers go out to his extended family and loved ones.
I share my deepest condolences with Dave’s entire family and network of friends. I am good friends of his daughter, Tracy Hughes. Dave was always powerful with his facial expressions the few times I met him. It was obvious to me the love he had for his for his family. My heart is with you today, this coming Monday, and beyond. Much Love to all, Leslie Krom
I only new Dave for a short time – while he served on the Board of Directors for Safe Harbor Crisis Nursery. Dave was a very proactive individual who quickly accepted the task of becoming our treasurer. His diligence and easy-going manner made him very effective in his short service on the board. Dave, thank you for everything you did. You will be missed.
Jan and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the news about David. As you know, we were friends all of our lives. Growing up in Declo together, being roomies at Boise State College and sharing all the people who looked up to Dave. We had many good times together and those memories will never be forgotten. Keep strong and remember that you will be in our prayers.
Joe Schmidt
The Shearman family and all of the kids that loved David sooo much.
