Mika N. Long
Mika Long brought into this world a delightful spark of life as only a baby can. Her passing revealed a surprisingly deep impact on many around her. She is and will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday October 7 at Westside Church in the North building.
Laurie and Chris,
I grieve with you in the loss of your precious daughter. I feel so blessed to have been able to hold her and feel her love at Jack’s birthday dinner. I know of no words to write that can heal your grief, but I do pray for your healing. Love your son, prize him, and turn to God for the strength you’ll need to recover and find purpose. I love you both and hurt for you. Your loss has to be the greatest loss a person must have to endure. May God bless you and heal you.
Laurie, Chris, and family: Mika’s time on this Earth was far too short, but the memory of her will remain. I hardly knew her, but she was your precious baby girl and will always be in your loving hearts. May peace be found in this time of grieving and in the days, weeks, and months to come.
My dear, dear sweet friends. My heart is breaking for you and the rest of your family. Mika was such a precious child of God. Watching her be loved by you and the others in our West Side family on Sundays proved to me that God knew what he was doing to bring her into our lives. It is so hard to understand why her time with you was so short. I pray for a peace that passes ALL understanding for you, Chris and Laurie. Know that you are loved.
We are so sorry you have lost your Mika, no mere words can be comforting enough but please know that Mika will always be with you in your memories and hearts as she will with everyone.
