On October 29, 2011, Gordon W. Corky Byers went to heaven to be with God and his Mother, Donna M. Hoffnagle Byers and Father, Clifford A. Byers. This little Angel, Corky blessed many people's lives, especially those that survived him; his brother David R. Byers and his wife Delia L. Byers, whom he lived with and whom enjoyed his smile and character daily and brother Bob A. Byers and wife Cin Byers and Nieces and Nephews; Jon and Kori Byers, Dawn and Aaron Graff, Brandon Fisher, Samantha Fisher, Dallas Fisher and Kolte Byers and several great nieces and nephews.

Corky was born on December 14, 1943 in Pendleton, OR and lived most of his life in the Tri-Cities. Being deaf and legally blind he enjoyed riding the buses around the Tri-Cities and Seattle areas when he lived there as well. Corky touched many peoples' lives with his smile and drawing personality and especially liked retirement from where he worked in manufacturing for disability organizations. Corky had lived the last five years with his Brother Dave and his wife Delia and their family where he enriched their lives.

Corky passed away in Richland, WA at the age of 67 years young. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. A memorial service rejoicing in the life and love that this special man spread will follow at Memories at Sunset Event Center with a reception to follow.
