Lucinda Blotz

Mrs. Lucinda Blotz, age 49 of Kennewick, Washington died at her family home on October 18, 2011. She was born in Toppenish Washington and was raised in Granger until her family moved to Yakima and then to Grandview Washington, where she graduated high school. Lucinda moved to the Tri-Cities shortly after graduating where she met and married Mark Blotz, her husband of 26 years.

Lucinda worked as a waitress and in retail for many years, until she was able leave the work force to do what she truly loved and that was to take care of her children and home. Lucinda always said her proudest achievement was having her beautiful daughter, Heather and handsome son Zackary She beamed whenever she spoke of her children and family. Lucinda was happy to be a mother and homemaker, she cherished her immediate and extended family, her three rambunctious dogs and she enjoyed traveling whenever she got the opportunity to do so with her family.

Lucinda is survived by her Husband, Mark Blotz, her daughter Heather Marie Blotz and son Zackary Taylor Blotz, her parents Sarah Gomez and Simon Salinas Sr. both of Pasco, her two sisters Anita Barnard of Richland and Mary Alice Rodriguez of Kennewick, her two brothers, Simon Jr. and Martin Salinas both of Pasco as well as her nieces and nephews, Melanie, Matthew, David, Stephanie, Mike, Amanda, Martin Matthew, Justin and Kyle as well as her great nieces and nephews who all love her dearly. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, several aunts and her beloved nephew John, as well as her mother and father in law John and Marie Blotz of Iowa.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Christ the King Church, Richland. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 6:00 PM Monday the 24th at Einan's Funeral Home, also in Richland.
