Tom went to be with his beloved wife Gladys on the morning of November 17th of this year. He will missed by all his family and friends.

He was born on May 28, 1923 in Los Angles California and raised in and around Bellingham, Washington.

He entered the Navy in 1941 where he flew as a radio operator on PBY amphibious aircraft in the Caribbean.

He was employed as a firefighter at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation retiring as Battalion Chief. After his retirement he served as a Benton County Fire Commissioner for two terms.

He was an avid HAM / NAVY Mars radio operator with a call sign of K7QVY and also enjoyed playing chess.

He and his wife attended the First Baptist church in Benton City.

He is survived by his sister, Betty Lindgren; his sons, Dennis and James; his daughters, Patty and Candy and his grandchildren, Sean, Michael, Saul, Celeste, Matthew and Cortnea.

Services will be held at Einan’s Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Saturday the 26th of November. Viewing will begin at 10:00 am and will continue until the beginning of the service. After the Service all are welcome to attend the wake being held at 1205 Grace St. in Benton City.
