Bettie Jane Ness was born April 6, 1923, in Des Moines, Iowa, to James G. Ness and Donalea Beall Ness.
She was married for 61 years to Charles W Cable. She moved to Richland, WA in 1975 from Bellevue, WA.
Bettie was a member of Richland Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was a member and Secretary of the Auxiliary of the Tri -Cities Chapter of WSPE.
Bettie passed away Wednesday, January 4th, 2012. She was preceded in death by her father, James G Ness; sister, Donna; brother, James G. Ness, Jr., and a son, Ronald Stephen Cable.
She has survived by her husband Charles W, Cable, her son Gary C .Cable and daughters Jennifer Warren Bill and Diane Young. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
Bettie enjoyed many activities, including swimming, Ice skating, skiing, and travel.
Her family wishes to express their thanks to the medical and nursing personal that provided care in her illness.
Family graveside services will be held at 1:30pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Richland, WA followed by a public memorial service at Richland Lutheran Church, 901 Van Giesen, Richland, WA at 2:00 PM.
