  • Billie’s family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Billie was a friend for 38 years; we had a lot of wonderful times together. We were better than sisters we confided in each other over our lives.

Billie, Betty, Kay and I spent a lot of weekends together, we watched movies worked on crafts and had meals at Kay’s. I remember one wonderful day trip we made, meeting for breakfast in Richland then driving through Northern Oregon, not interstates, ending in Multnomah Falls before returning home.

Billie and I did a lot of Girl Scout Camps together, Browne, Junior, Mother Daughter Twilight Camps and many others along with Betty and Kay. There were so many things we did together I can’t even remember or name them all.

Billie will be remembered by all who worked with her in Girl Scouts for so many years and by the girls whose lives she touched and all who were her friends.

Rest in Peace my Dearest Friend we all love you.

  • Billie Lou, we had lots of memories to share. Our trip to Oregon and Tillamook in the Chevy van. Potlach picnics and camping with the Girl Scouts. Learning to cook outdoors in the rain. Visits to Richland with my 3 boys in tow, joined by Connie, Barbara and Richard, they were quite a handful. Billie Lou you were never at a loss to entertain us. I shall miss your laughter and love. • I always remember Mrs. Brewer’s joy and sense of humor as she lead us through so many Girl Scout activities. I also remember all the spring weekends when our families worked on the Kingslake camp. I feel privileged to have been a life she touched.

  • Hello Richard, Connie, Barbara and families —

Rich and I were sorry to hear about Billie Lou’s death she will always be Billie Lou to me…. When I look at her photo, I can almost hear her laughing — she had the most contagious laugh — and I remember that she always laughed a lot when we were with her. We have lost track of you all over the years, but please know that our thoughts are with you as you struggle with the loss of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I was fortunate to have such a fine aunt.

    Much love to you all,

    Brenda and Rich
